Included in the upgrade is a knotting solution, that stops the lives knots from weeping. This prevents the sap from oozing out as the timber dries during the summer months.

The first coat may be suitable as a finish if the colour is dark enough. However for the lighter shades, the first coat will appear as a wood stain once it has dried.  

The second coat brings the colour alive to give the painted finish that we're looking for. The opaque finish not only increases protection against the British weather, but also suddenly turns the shed like appearance into a garden building to be proud of.  

Included within the cost of painting the building, is the opportunity to have the doors, windows, and cover strips painted a different colour to the main body of the building. 

We use Sadolin Opaque paint from the Beautiflex range, as this is easily available should you wish to use it on other timber products in your garden. There are 216 colours to choose from in this range, so there will be one that ticks the box.  

UK-Sheds include 1 litre of the treatment colour and a brush for touching up the building if needed. If choosing a two-tone, please confirm which colour is required, or if extra touch up paint is needed.
